Assignment#4 J.Tripp

Monica Davey of the New York Times wrote the article, States and Cities in Scramble for Stimulus Cash. The article is centered toward an audience that is aware and interested in the financial "black hole" that America is currently in. The article goes on to talk about the hotly debated stimulus package that President Obama has suggested. The package is suppose to divide money between the states and help start up projects which n return will create jobs. There are some people who see this plan as the life rft we need and others see it as a hole added to our already sinking life raft... The article tries to explain that there are going to be arguments of how and where the money should be spent. States will be fighting with states, cities with cities and so on. There is alot of discussion about this package, some good some bad but the truth is that we will never know how it is going to go until we give it a try. It could be good, it could be bad, I guess we will find out in the future.
