In the article "States and Cities in Scramble for Stimulus Cash," was written by Monica Davey. It was published in the New York Times. This article was directed to people who are concerned about how the federal government and how they give money to states.
After reading this article it makes me wonder exactly what the government uses all this money for. They do all these big projects, like building new buildings and building cities or bridges when really they could be using that money for a better cause. Yes the economy is growing but at the moment its not so good and I personally think that the government needs to think a little harder about how they spend their money.
