Assignment #4 - N.Dixon

After reading the article "States and Cities in Scramble for Stimulus Cash", by Monica Davey, from the NYTimes, I feel the same as I have since I heard about the bill being passed. We are bailing out all the ones who were irresponsible and got us in this mess in the first place, and making it harder for the ones who work their butt off to pay the bills. If your behind on your house payment here's a check, if you have 15 kids here's a check. It seems ridiculous to me. Every state has it's own ideas of how they are going to spend their money, while SC officials are choosing to not take any. I do not think that our mayor has made any wonderful decisions so far, however I still raise the question "Is it really a good idea to put the country in more debt, to get us out of debt?" I'm not so sure. If we just keep bailing everyone out they are never going to learn their lesson.
