Assignment #5 T Hickam

Well my first thought of this essay is, what is this stuff all about? To me all that the is all about politicians wanting to change the constitution …again! So the source seems to come from the Washington Post. The audience is anyone who doesn’t want to see empty senate seats be replaced by those who where not elected. Personally I think every one should hear about this its informative and every one need to know what is happening to their senators‘. Who wouldn’t want to know that the people you voted for might leave , and be replaced by people you don’t want.
This seemed to appear in the Washington Post , not to mention the website we read it from, http://www.thestate.com/editorial-columns/v-print/story/692551.html;
The main point seems to be very clear. The essay informs us, the readers, that the folks in the senate are trying to change the 17th amendment. Now I understand what Wisconsin is doing and I like it we should have the right to pick replacement senators. It’s just fair that every one should have a chance to vote for their senator.
The audience that this essay is directed toward are people like us who attend classes like this one, but that’s not all. It is for those people who want to stop the changes happening in the constitution. Thou I could be wrong . The argument is about why should we let the senators change the constitution to benefit them
